WEP CLINICAL EXPANDS CLINICAL TRIAL HOME NURSING; APPOINTS JULIET HULSE TO LEAD GLOBAL OPERATIONS
WEP Clinical (WEP), a full-service contract research organization (CRO), today announced the expansion of its Clinical Trial Home Nursing division with the appointment of Juliet Hulse as Head of Clinical Nursing Operations. The move advances WEP’s strategy to deliver high-quality, protocol–driven clinical trial services directly to patients in their homes.
As Sponsors adopt more flexible, patient–centric trial designs, and regulators place greater emphasis on improving access and making trial populations more representative of real-world patients, WEP has accelerated investment in its home-based clinical trial nursing infrastructure, operations, and governance. Focusing on this business line enhances the company’s ability to provide an integrated, compliant solution that helps Sponsors improve recruitment and retention, reduce patient burden, and maintain data quality.
Currently, the division can support home nursing activities for clinical trials across a global footprint spanning 60+ countries, with further expansion planned to meet Sponsor demand. WEP also maintains an in-house nursing team to support delivery and oversight, enabling flexible scheduling and consistent control over training, standards, and outcomes.
Juliet brings 25+ years of global clinical research experience, with deep expertise in home health for clinical trials, direct–to–patient (DTP) models, regulatory oversight, and risk mitigation. Prior to joining WEP, she spent 11 years at Illingworth Research Group (a Syneos Health company), where she helped build the company’s clinical home health division and most recently served as Executive Director of Global Research Nurse Strategy and Patient Advocacy.
