Expanded Access Programs (EAPs) provide sponsors the opportunity to collect meaningful Real World Data (RWD), i.e. data on health care that is derived from sources outside of the typical clinical research setting. When compiled and analyzed, RWD becomes Real World Evidence (RWE) which can be used by companies and key stakeholders to derive scientific conclusions.
